Dog Walking

 

Dogs just love walks - come rain, hail or shine!  At Cuddle Paws, we love them too, and can provide your dog with a stimulating and fun walk each day. 

 

Whether you are working, and need your dog exercised while you are away - or if you are just feeling under the weather and not up to a walk, we will be delighted to help.

 

We will collect your dog from your home, take it for it's walk, and then bring it back to you safe, tired, and with clean paws!   All you need to do is enjoy a happy, exercised dog when you return home.   If you can't be around for the collection or return of your pet, we can even act as a key holder.  

 

We also recognise the importance of good socialisation for dogs, and their need to be part of a pack.  Therefore, we offer both individual and group walks, to cater for the exact needs of your dog - be it 1:1 attention, or a group of playpals.  Where possible, dogs will be walked with the same group, so they become familiar with their playpals, and look forward to being with them.

 

For safety purposes, all dogs will be kept on the lead during their walk.  However, if your dog has good recall abilities and written consent is provided, we will let them off the lead to romp around the woodland and fields.

 

At all times, the safety and happiness of your dog will be foremost in our mind.  To that end, we are fully insured - as you would expect from a professional dog walking service.

 

 

Day Walking

 

There may also be times when you need your dog walked more than once each day, and perhaps fed while you are out.  We will be happy to provide a walking schedule which will accommodate this - please call to discuss.

 

 

Doggy Day Care 

 

Cuddle Paws offers Doggy Day Care that is so much more than just a place to leave your dog each day.   We look after your dog in our own home, which is right on the doorstep of lots of country walks.  

 

Your dog will be looked after with all the care and attention we give to our own dog, and will be returned to you happy and well exercised. 

 

It will be taken on at least two daytime walks, and will enjoy lots of fun and games with the other dogs on the walks - including our own.    Our large, dog friendly garden is fully enclosed, and provides a safe place for your dog to play.

 

We can even collect and drop off your dog*, so you can concentrate on other commitments.  All we ask is that you provide any meals your dog will require during the day.

 

*Free collection and drop off in local area only.  A charge will apply for longer distances - please call us to discuss.

 

 

Home Boarding

 

Hate leaving your dog when you go on holiday?    Worried about your pet in a boarding kennel?

 

Home boarding has no concrete floors or kennels - just warm rooms, constant attention, and cuddles on demand!  

 

If you've never left your dog before, or simply want to know what your dog is up to while you're away, we can send you regular updates at no extra charge.  

 

Meaning you can relax and enjoy your holiday or break, while your dog enjoys a home from home.

 

Note:  As the safety and care of your dog is paramount to us, we are proud to hold an Animal Boarding Licence with Clackmannanshire Council for home boarding and doggy day care.   However, we can only take one dog from one owner at any one time. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

 

 

Puppies

 

Puppies demand attention and love.  They need toilet training and instruction in basic commands, as well as good socialisation. 

 

At such a young age, it can be hard to leave them unattended at home while you are at work, or away from home.  So, why not let Cuddle Paws help.

 

We can provide basic training, gentle exercise, and lots of play and fun for your puppy.   And, of course, plenty of cuddles!  Whatever it's needs, we would be happy to discuss these with you and to provide doggy day care for the new addition to your family.

 

 

Dog Training

 

Wish your dog was more obedient?  We can help.  Liz Melville is qualified by the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers, and can offer obedience training personalised to the needs of you and your dog. 

 

We will meet with you at your own home, and provide a one hour session with you and your dog.   So, whether you need extra help with a new puppy, or just want to reinforce previous training, call us to discuss.
